Faults we see most on GE
- Refrigerator not cooling, freezer fine The evaporator fan or the defrost circuit. On French door models the fan is behind the rear panel and is an ordinary same-visit replacement.
- Ice maker stopped filling Inlet valve or a frozen fill tube. On dispenser models the fill tube heater is the part that fails, and it is inexpensive.
- Dryer runs but will not heat A blown thermal fuse on electric models. The fuse is protecting the machine from restricted airflow, so the vent has to be cleared or it will blow again.
